If it is carried out devotedly in terms of the performance then it can come up to achieve for a Muslim with so many valuable spiritual, physical, and ethical gains.

Prayer as Main Pillar of Islam Foundation:

It would not be wrong to say that the high importance of the Prayer cannot be understated. In Islam, the word Prayer is known by the name of Salah. It is one of the most vital known pillars of the Islam that the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, have named up mentioning the Testimony of Faith. It is one of those pillars all the way through which one becomes a Muslim.  It has been considered to be necessary as upon all the prophets and for all peoples. It has been narrated in Holy Quran that: “And I have chosen you, so listen to that which is inspired to you. Verily, I am God! There is none worthy of worship but I, so worship Me and offer prayer perfectly for My remembrance.” (Quran 20:13-14)

Importance of Prayers

In so many Islamic studies the importance of the prayers has been carried out with detail descriptions as in so many Prophet’s statements.  Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said that: “The first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is the prayer.  If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound. And if it is incomplete, then the rest of his deeds will be incomplete". Muslims have to perform the prayers as 5 times in a day at different timings.  Men have to perform in Mosques and women can perform at home.

Importance of Prayer in Islam

The importance of the Prayers is all evident from the fact that it makes your relationship stronger with your God. Your faith in your God becomes so strong that you eventually find yourself too much close to him. The link of your prayers and your deeds is related with each other. If your prayers are sound and performed properly then eventually your rest of the deeds will be sound and proper. This is the main reason that today no other prayer can match with the quality and high standard of Salah in Islam.

By performing the prayers with the pure soul and heart you will find that as soon as you end up with the prayer you will be filled with the remembrance of God.  You will be finding yourself as fearful as well as hopeful of God. If you want to make your relationship strong and pure with God then don't forget to offer your prayers 5 times in a day.
